Induction Day Program

The Induction Day Program for the newly admitted I Year B.Sc. Nursing and ANM students of GRT College & School of Nursing was conducted on 31st October 2025 with great enthusiasm, marking the beginning of a promising academic journey. The program began with a prayer song, followed by a warm welcome address by Mrs. Jayanthi, Associate Professor, highlighting the values of discipline, empathy, and professionalism in nursing.

An orientation was given on the institution’s infrastructure, academic curriculum, student support systems, and extracurricular opportunities. Dr. Padmavathi, Principal of GRT College of Nursing, briefed students on rules and regulations emphasizing attendance, discipline, and ethical practice. The Presidential Address by Dr. Lakshmi Narasimhan, Vice President of GRT Group of Educational Institutions, assured academic excellence and support. A motivational talk by Dr. Radhika Vidyasagar inspired students about the global scope of nursing.

The Chief Guest, Mrs. Joy Kezia, CNO at Apollo Hospitals, motivated students to embrace nursing as a noble service to humanity. The program concluded with a vote of thanks, leaving students motivated and confident to begin their professional journey in healthcare.
