Report On Naan Mudhalvan – Communicative English Training Programme
The Naan Mudhalvan Communicative English Training Programme was successfully conducted for 59 First Year B.Sc. Nursing students of GRT College of Nursing. The programme aimed to enhance students’ communication skills, confidence, and employability through structured English language training, aligning with the objectives of the Naan Mudhalvan initiative of the Government of Tamil Nadu.
The training was delivered by Ms. Srinisha, Trainer from STEP-Hindu, who effectively facilitated interactive learning sessions focusing on listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. Students actively participated in various communicative activities and language development exercises throughout the programme.
As an outcome of the training, two students were selected to participate in the Hackathon Competition, where they demonstrated their skills and secured cash prizes, bringing recognition to the institution.
The programme concluded with the End Semester Examination, which was conducted successfully to assess the students’ learning outcomes and proficiency in Communicative English. The overall performance and participation of the students were highly satisfactory.
