Kavalar Udhavi App

The IIC Unit of GRT College of Nursing organized a self-driven awareness programme on the Kavalar Udhavi App on 06.02.2026 for B.Sc.(N) IV and ANM I & II Year students. Mrs. Malar, Inspector of Police, Tiruttani Ladies Police Station, explained the app’s features, installation process, and emergency use for women’s safety, highlighting technology-enabled rapid response. Mrs. Radha, Social Worker from the Tiruvallur Collectorate Office, briefed students on the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act. An interactive discussion clarified doubts and strengthened safety awareness, legal literacy, and social responsibility.
