Independence Day

As per the circular issued by the Government of India, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, the GRT CON NSS Unit celebrated Independence Day at the Institute of Mental Health with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit. The programme provided an opportunity for the III Year B.Sc. Nursing students to actively participate in the celebration and express their love and respect for the nation.

The celebration commenced with a march past by the students, which reflected discipline, unity, and national pride. The students participated with enthusiasm and demonstrated excellent coordination during the march past.

This was followed by a vibrant welcome dance, which added colour and energy to the celebration. The students also presented a soulful patriotic song, creating an atmosphere of patriotism and emotional connection with the nation.

As part of the Government of India initiatives, the students actively participated in the “Selfie with Tiranga activity by taking selfies with the National Flag. The students also participated in the Sing Vande Mataram initiative through the link provided by the Government of India. They enthusiastically sang Vande Mataram and successfully completed the activity.

After participating in the activities through the provided link, the students received their respective e-Certificates as a token of participation.
