World Cancer Day

The SNA of GRT College of Nursing organized an awareness programme to commemorate World Cancer Day 2026 on 04.02.2026 at Stanley GH for B.Sc.(N) 2024–2028 batch students. Mrs. Kerith Evangelin conducted an informative session based on the theme “United by Unique,” highlighting the uniqueness of each cancer journey. The session emphasized the importance of early detection, lifestyle modification, preventive measures, and continuous education in reducing cancer risk. Students were sensitized to recognize warning signs and promote healthy practices. The programme enhanced awareness about cancer prevention and reinforced the role of nursing students in community education, compassionate care, and supporting individuals affected by cancer.
