Pongal Celebration – 2026

The Pongal Celebration – 2026 was organized by the Student Nurses Association on 13.01.2026 at the GRT Campus. The program showcased the rich cultural heritage of Tamil Nadu through activities such as Vannakkolam, pot painting, Pongal preparation, Suriya Vanakkam, prayer song, welcome address, dance, group singing, and traditional folk performances including Karagattam, Thappattam, Oyilattam, Mayilattam, Silambattam, and Kavadiyattam.Dr. Vedhanayaki, Principal, Thalapathy Vinayagam Arts and Science College, graced the occasion as Chief Guest and delivered an inspiring Pongal message. Prize distribution, Uriyadi, spot dance, and refreshments made the celebration vibrant and memorable.
