World Population Day

The Department of Community Health Nursing, GRT College of Nursing, organized a World Population Day awareness programme on 10 July 2026 as part of its Community Outreach Programme. The event was conducted in line with the global theme, “Realizing the Hopes and Aspirations of Young People – Today and for the Future.”
As part of the programme, B.Sc. Nursing Second-Year students organized a Population Explosion Awareness Rally to educate the public on the importance of population stabilization, responsible parenthood, family planning, and sustainable development. Through awareness slogans and public interaction, the students emphasized the significance of informed decision-making in achieving a healthier society and a sustainable future.
