World Kidney Day – 2026

The SNA organized an awareness program on World Kidney Day – 2026 on 14.03.2026 at GRT College of Nursing Auditorium. The theme “Kidney Health for All – Caring for People, Protecting the Planet” was emphasized. The session was conducted by Mrs. Saranya L, SNA Advisor, with a special talk by Nephrologist and Renal Transplant Physician Dr. Vignesh Jagannathan DrNB (Nephrology) on kidney disease and prevention. A total of 220 B.Sc (N) students and 40 ANM students participated. The program highlighted the importance of self-care, early detection, and healthy lifestyle practices. Overall, it was an informative and successful event promoting kidney health awareness.
