Art And Ictc Field Visit In Stanley Medical College And Hospital, Chennai 

From 25.03.2026 to 28.03.2026, II Year B.Sc. Nursing students, along with faculty members, attended a field visit to the Anti-Retroviral Therapy (ART) and Integrated Counselling and Testing Centre (ICTC) at Stanley Medical College and Hospital, Chennai. The visit was organized under the guidance of Professor Mrs. Jayanthy, Assistant Professor Mrs. Kerith Evangelin, and Clinical Instructors Mrs. Shakila, Mrs. Kamali, Mrs. Amala, and Ms. Shakina. Students gained practical exposure to HIV/AIDS management, counselling techniques, diagnostic procedures, and treatment protocols. The visit enriched their knowledge of patient care, infection control, and emphasized the importance of early detection and awareness.
