A guest lecture on “Infection Control” was successfully conducted on 8th April 2026 through online mode for B.Sc Nursing and ANM students. The session was led by Mrs. Samundeeswari Premkumar, Clinical Lead Specialist in Infection Control at Apollo Hospitals. She shared valuable knowledge on standard infection prevention practices, hospital-acquired infection control measures, hand hygiene protocols, and nurses’ role in ensuring patient safety. The lecture was highly informative and interactive, enriching students’ understanding of infection control principles and their practical application in clinical settings. The session concluded with an engaging discussion to clarify students’ doubts.
