ADMISSION

Applications submitted by candidates for nursing are received through three major quotas as listed as follows.

GOVERNMENT QUOTA : 65% seats will be filled by The Directorate of Medical Education, Chennai through counseling.

MANAGEMENT QUOTA : 35% seats will be filled by the management on the basis of the merit list prepared by the college and interview.

ANM : 100% seats will be filled by the management on the basis of the merit list prepared by the college and interview and follows the norms of Directorate of Public Health and Preventive Medicine.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR B.Sc., (NURSING)

  • The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years on 31st December of the year in which admission is sought.
  • Minimum education: 10+2 class passed with Science (Physics, Chemistry & Biology) & English Core/English Elective with aggregate of 45% marks from recognized board under AISSCE/CBSE/ICSE/SSCE/HSCE or other equivalent Board (For SC/ST aggregate mark relaxed to 40%).
  • Student shall be medically fit.
  • Students appearing in 10+2 examination in Science conducted by National Institute of Open School with 45% marks.
  • Student shall be admitted once in a year.

BASIS OF SELECTION

GOVERNMENT QUOTA:

35% seats will be filled by the management on the basis of the merit list prepared by the college and interview.

HOW TO APPLY

  • From the date of admission notification - Prospectus and the application forms can be obtained from the office of the Principal, Tiruttani on payment of Rs.1, 000/- (B.Sc Nursing) or can download the applicaton and filled in application can be submitted with Rs.1, 000/- in the office
  • The candidate must fill in all the items in the original application form in her own handwriting. The application submitted should be complete in all respects.
  • Self-attested copies of certificates/documents to be submitted along with the original application

    • Higher secondary mark sheet
    • Transfer certificate
    • Medical fitness certificate
    • Blood group(certified by competent authority)
    • Community certificate
    • Eligibility certificate
    • Recent Income Certificate
    • Migration certificate (for students outside Tamil Nadu)
